Epoch SMILE offers students the chance to be a part of the learning process. Students spend time in a traditional education environment with their teacher. Then it is the students turn. Each student creates questions with answers based on the material. Students share their questions with the teacher, and then the fun begins. The students work through the questions, and the teacher receives realtime feedback on the progress.

Run Anywhere

For Teachers and Students, Epoch SMILE runs on tablets, laptops, or mobile phones, wherever a modern Web Browser is available. The Server runs on any platform capable of running Node.js, from Mac, to Linux, to Windows.

The Old & New Working Together

Epoch SMILE bridges the divide between traditional learning methods that have worked for centuries with the new world of mobile devices. Until now, it has been challenging for Teachers to find natural ways to bring technology into the daily lesson. Epoch SMILE offers a natural blended learning style to suit students' multiple intelligences.

Extensible

Every educator has different objectives and may have pre-existing technology to use in the classroom. Epoch SMILE can be extended and into existing applications, and made to work with new clients. It's based on HTML5 and Web Standards. That's important for those would like to extend Epoch SMILE.
